101 Jewelry Design was launched in 2004 by jewelry designer Jonathan Glatt as a way to bring smart, functional designs to a broad retail audience. Rather than designing jewelry around stones or traditional styles, 101 designs begin with abstract drawings and concepts. These concepts are then realized by our model makers in simple and innovative constructions, which often focus on a material or function as the "jewel". From there, our designs are produced one at a time by skilled hands in our Rhode Island workshop.
